On Wednesday 8/13/14, Program Director Chris Valenti will be undergoing major heart surgery. His aorta is being replaced with a mechanical aorta. At the same time a valve is being replaced and his aortic valve is being repaired. This will be a very risky and monumental effort on his surgeons behalf. If all goes as planned, Chris plans on being back on the air Saturday 9/13 at 9pm est. If Chris is not on the air that evening, we can only thank his surgeons for trying their best and enjoy the archives he has left. During this trying time Chris wanted to extend a very big thanks to all of the listeners of his program and to the listeners of all other specialty programming broadcast here at WYYR. And without question, a huge thanks to all of the wonderfully talented hosts listed below for all of their time and contribution through whom our unique scheduling could not exist. 8/1/14
